Privacy
No cookies, no analytics, no tracking.
TrainZzz is a static catalogue of European night trains. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does not track visitors. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What the site loads
Pages are pre-rendered and served as static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from the host (Vercel, Inc., United States). The host writes standard web-server access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for operational purposes such as abuse prevention and capacity planning. See Vercel's privacy policy for details on how those logs are handled.
Live train status
When you load a route or planner page, the site may call one of these public transit APIs to fetch live status: Deutsche Bahn (transport.rest), ÖBB, SNCB, SBB, SNCF, PKP, and Trenitalia (ViaggiaTreno). These calls happen from your browser and from our server. The APIs are operated by the respective rail carriers and are subject to their own terms.
Data sources
The route catalogue is built from the open Back-on-Track night-train-data dataset and enriched with public timetable data. None of this involves personal information.
